These looks were created using all of the limited edition lip glosses from the MAC Superglass collection. My personal favorites from the collection were: Tunnel of Love, Fab Frenzy and Cherry Electric. I thought that the most difficult to work with was Sugar Overload, but I found the lighter colors in general, difficult to use. Get Your Makeup Collection Ready for Fall with these Tips

With every new season, comes new makeup.

That’s why many makeup professionals are already talking about the next season. Here’s how to get your makeup collection ready!

It might seem like you just settled into this season but makeup trends are already heating up for the coming fall. That means using up or tossing out the bright, bold colors of warmer months and getting a sneak peek at what’s hot for the season to come.

Makeup retailers seek to give customers plenty of buying time for the coming season, so expect to start seeing new colors by mid July.

A hot emerging trend right now is earthy, autumnal shades with refreshing hints of pink and peach. These colors get matched up with a balance of smokier blues and greens. The effect is an ethereal blend that’s topped off with oxidized metallic eyeliners.

A second eye look that’s looking (no pun intended) to make a big splash next season is the watercolor eye.

As seen on recent runway shows, the watercolor eye combines several soft colors together to create a weepy-looking watercolor effect like you’d see in a classic painting. The look is playful and should be combined with nude cheeks and a soft lip color.

You might also want to add a new blush to your makeup collection for the coming season. To go with the autumn-y eye look, look for a blush that creates a natural-looking, soft glow.

Colors such as chestnut and berry will make a trendy statement that a new season has arrived over summer’s popular coral.

As always, remember to update your face makeup with each season. Since we’re typically a little more tan in the summer than in the winter, it’s best to make sure your foundation matches your skin tone for the season you’re currently in.

In other words, summer’s foundation might look to dark come fall. Since dead skin can collect on powder and oils can break down, changing your foundation with each season is also a good way to cut back on breakouts and keep your makeup collection looking current.

Which of these fall makeup looks is your favorite? We would love to see what you come up with and just remember when it comes to beauty it suppose to be fun.
